Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) of immigration engagements in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and identify potential service opportunities.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with immigration and labour authorities to enhance service delivery and stay updated on regulatory changes and administrative practices.
- Lead junior team members in executing assigned tasks within immigration engagements; provide guidance, support, and ensure alignment with engagement objectives.
- Monitor and report task progress to higher-level team members or managers in a timely and proactive manner, ensuring all deliverables meet required quality standards and deadlines.
- Coordinate end-to-end immigration processes for assigned clients, including preparation, submission, and follow-up of work permit, visa applications and any other related applications
- Advise clients on immigration and labour-related matters, including application processes, compliance requirements, and changes in regulations or procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of in-house systems and procedures
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor/Master degree in relevant subjects, e.g. accounting, finance, economics, law
- Two to three years of relevant experience in handling labour and immigration matters, including but not limited to work permit applications, visa/TRC processing, and non-criminal record
- A good command of spoken and written English, showcased by confidence in speaking to foreigners;
- Competent and literate with the following packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
- Ability to work and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
- Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
