About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, confident, and experienced individual to join our team as a Corporate Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO will be responsible for managing the overall project portfolio, ensuring consistent and effective business practices across all projects, and driving project completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build/ Support to Build Department's Strategy every year for Project & Quality Management of KPMG Innovation Projects (both Software Development & Culture Activities).
2. Maintain/ Upgrade Project & Quality Management process for KPMG Innovation Projects. (Software Development Life Cycle)
3. Join Project from beginning to Go Live:
- From Ideation: meeting with Functions User to gather requirement, guide them to write what they want and what they should think more.
- Complete BRD with Functions User using KPMG template, for all information that Developers need. (Process, Requirement, Permission Matrix, Picture,…)
- Work with Technical Lead to provide Project Plan (timeline, action plan)
- Monitor and schedule for Implementation status update
- Reporting Project status to Functions User, Head of Innovation, Head of Function
- Pushing relevant stakeholder to get information needed for project going
- Plan for System Integration Test (SIT) using internal resource (BA/QC)
- Plan for User Acceptance Test (UAT) with Functions User
- Collect approval after complete UAT with all bug fixed and accepted by Product Owner of solution.
- Plan for Go Live (server, hosting, domain, https certificate, risk assessment, go live email)
- Collect approval for Go Live from Project Sponsoring Partner.
- Work with Technical Lead to complete Production deployment and smoke testing.
4. Support Functions Project incase development team is IT Vendor:
- Support Functions User to create Request for Proposal document (BRD and other notes of KPMG policies)
- Support Project Request for Proposal phase (call Vendor to provide Proposal for the requirement)
- Support Functions User to evaluate Vendor Proposal (Cost, Scope, Schedule, Technical, Risk)
- Support Functions User to working internal Developers, IT Helpdesk and other relevant stakeholder to accept the Proposal and process with Contracting.
- Support Functions User to manage Vendor's Project to make it Go Live (same with above SDLC)
5. Work with KPMG Global to evaluate Global Solutions for seeing the feasibility to apply at KPMG Vietnam:
- Research from KPMG Global Technology categories for list of potential solutions.
- Create Evaluation report for list of potential solutions (using Innovation methods)
- Present Evaluation result to Line Services Director/ Partner for Go/ No Go with Solution Pilot phase.
- In case we will Pilot, contact Global Solution Owner to collect more information to prepare for Pilot.
- Planning and Monitoring Pilot phase with Functions User.
- Collect Pilot evaluation result from Functions User to create Pilot Report
- Present Pilot Report to get approval for Go/ No Go with Full Production using.
- In case we will using Full Product, coordinate with KPMG Global Product Owner to plan for it (include Risk Assessment at Local RM).
6. Manage Innovation Project portfolios not just new project, but also completed projects for maintain/ upgrade. (using iRequest system)
7. Support Technology Enablement team to planning/ request for Resource need to complete User requests (server, hosting, design, picture)
8. Manage Innovation Document Repository
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Project management role for business operations/processes or IT related project.
- Good presentation and documentation skills.
- Be able to think both as a user and a business owner.
- Good analytical and critical thinking.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills required.
- Ability to understand the "big picture" and to apply advanced knowledge of project management methodology, best practices, tools and processes.
- Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
- PMP certification from PMI is preferred
