Key Responsibilities

About the role

This role provides high-level, confidential project and administrative support to the office of the Chairman and CEO. Duties may be, administrative and project-based and include arranging and preparing presentations and agendas for meetings, preparing reports and correspondence, and liaising with other Partners, clients and employees. This position is often privy to confidential information and as such, requires diplomacy and discretion. The Office of the Chairman position is a seasoned professional who understands the requirement for flexibility and accommodates shifting priorities while representing and supporting the Executive in planning, directing, managing, and coordinating the Firm’s views and interests.


Key responsibilities

•    The qualified candidate will have 1-year rotation from your current function to CMO. After completion of rotation period, the candidate will move back to the previous function or other function subject to the availability of open opportunities
•    Work under supervisor of the CEO, including but not limited to planning, directing, managing, and coordinating day-to-day business and strategic activities
•    Follow up various assigned projects involving all levels of internal management and staff
•    Prepare agendas, briefings, and preparation materials for meetings, appointments, and events; work closely with other staff to gather agenda items, briefing notes, and other materials, as needed. Distribute meeting materials in advance of meetings
•    Prepare and print materials and presentations; coordinate with external event organizers with logistics, and communicate needs on behalf of Chairman
•    Work under guidance of the CEO and OPSCO in creating presentations, maintaining spreadsheets and databases relating to confidential projects, business plans of the Firm.
•    Monitor tasks delegated by the Chairman on all key strategic projects and ensure that completed work achieved to agreed deadlines
•    Work closely with the CEO and OPSCO to ensure that all projects and contracts are up to date and outlining progress on all projects
•    Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
•    Work closely with support and professional functional heads
•    Perform other tasks as required by the performance manager.

 

Qualifications & Experiences

•    Have less than 4 years of experience at KPMG (currently Consultant to Assistant Manager Y1)
•    Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects, e.g., accounting, finance, economics, law, investment, data science, etc.
•    Analytically minded and possessing critical thinking skills
•    Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
•    Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
•    Confidence & capability to take initiative and manage upwards
•    Willingness to maintain flexibility in job function in an ever-changing environment
•    Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills to interface with all levels of management as well as external stakeholders
•    A “can-do” attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done
•    Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and co-ordinate the input of others in these circumstances
•    Ability to work effectively with a range of partners and stakeholders
•    Ability to work in a discreet manner, maintaining confidentiality
•    An excellent command of verbal and written English and Vietnamese (preferable), knowing another language is a plus
•    Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook), knowledge of Power BI or other analytical tools is a plus
