Our Technology Consulting function provides services in consulting and implementation of technology systems for enterprises, including Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”), Enterprise Performance Management (“EPM”) and Data Analytics & Platform Solutions for clients in across sectors such as manufacturing, retail, F&B, banking & financial services.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a high-performing Data Analytics Associate Director to join KPMG Vietnam’s Consulting practice. This role is responsible for leading complex data and analytics engagements, advising senior client stakeholders on data-driven transformation, and driving the design and delivery of scalable analytics solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong client leadership, commercial acumen, and delivery excellence to help clients unlock value from data and strengthen KPMG’s data and analytics capabilities in the market.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, providing strategic advice on data transformation, analytics enablement, and decision support.
• Define target-state data and analytics architectures, translate business needs into practical solution designs, and oversee implementation of scalable platforms and reporting solutions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client performance through business intelligence, dashboarding, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging AI-enabled use cases where appropriate.
• Support business development activities, including proposal development, solution positioning, client presentations, and identification of follow-on opportunities.
• Contribute to practice growth by developing thought leadership, methodologies, reusable assets, and market-relevant offerings in data and analytics.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members across project delivery and capability-building activities, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Ensure engagement risks, quality standards, and governance requirements are appropriately managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data and analytics solutions into broader transformation programmes and enterprise technology landscapes.
• Promote strong delivery discipline, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement across engagements to achieve sustainable client outcomes.
Qualifications & Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Management Information System, or a related discipline.
• Significant relevant experience in data and analytics, technology consulting, or digital transformation, with a strong track record of leading complex client engagements.
• Demonstrated experience in data platform design, business intelligence, analytics delivery, and stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, reporting and visualization tools, data governance principles, and analytics use cases across business functions.
• Strong leadership, team development, communication, and commercial skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a consulting environment.
• Professional, proactive, and client-focused, with a commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on familiarity with leading data and analytics technologies such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python, or equivalent platforms is an advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Databricks certifications, or equivalent cloud/data credentials.
• Additional certifications in project delivery, architecture, or governance—such as PMP, PRINCE2, DAMA, or other relevant credentials - would be beneficial.
