Our services
The Complex Transactions Group (“CTG”) provides end-to-end project management of complex and often cross-border M&A transactions which require the involvement of multi-disciplinary teams.
In the Project Management Office (PMO), you will be at the heart of some of the most high- profile deals, often involving multinational corporations, private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds and KPMG teams around the globe.
We are looking for a well-rounded business professional who can oversee and coordinate the work of various internal and external stakeholders and ensure that the highest quality outputs are delivered in line with timelines to facilitate a successful transaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional organizational skills, and familiarity with the due diligence process across financial, legal, tax etc. domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-services engagements, including coordinating activities and communications across workstreams and with clients, providing regular updates on progress to relevant internal and external parties.
- Cooperate with work streams to ensure the deadline and commitment of projects (including but not limited to keeping track project’s timeline, progress, required-action tasks, gathering and synthesizing information, etc.).
- Review consolidated deliverables prepared by junior team members to ensure completeness and consistency.
- Lead and guide junior team members in preparing multi-service proposals, including conducting industry research and gathering relevant data for potential client engagements.
- Provide timely feedback, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff to help them develop their project management skills.
- Support team leaders in business development.
- Perform other tasks as required by the performance manager.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor degree or higher in relevant subjects, e.g. business, accounting, finance, economics, law, investment, etc.
- Two to five years' relevant experience with excellent project management skills. Experience in deal/investment transactions is a plus.
- Demonstrate an analytical mindset, structured thinking, and creativity.
- Demonstrate confidence, people skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a “can-do” mindset and fast learning ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Deep knowledge of the firm’s risk management procedures (relevant for internal candidates)
- Proficient at MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. MS Project skills are a plus.
- Ability to travel (within Vietnam and Cambodia) as required.
