About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our dynamic innovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure to support advanced analytics, Knowledge Graph systems, and AI-driven applications. This role ensures reliable data processing pipelines, enabling high-quality data for decision-making, regulatory compliance, and innovation initiatives aligned with enterprise data strategies and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable data architectures, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Knowledge Graph systems (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB, Neo4j).
2. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and standardize structured and unstructured data.
3. Build and optimize data processing workflows to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance.
4. Integrate data across multiple sources (e.g., PDF, Excel, Word, databases) for analytics and AI use cases.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., AI, Software Development) to support chatbot systems, RAG pipelines, and analytics platforms.
6. Manage and optimize databases, including MS SQL Server and cloud data services.
7. Support cloud-based data solutions and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Power BI).

Qualifications & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with MS SQL Server.
• Solid programming skills in Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure ecosystem preferred).
• Familiarity with Knowledge Graph technologies (e.g., Neo4j, Cosmos DB Gremlin API).
• Experience using version control systems (GitHub).
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (English in both speaking and reading).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to enterprise-grade development environments.
